IOTA 9930 is an amino-functional modified polydimethylsiloxane designed for hair care applications. Its active amino groups provide excellent adhesion and combing properties while remaining compatible with various oil-phase ingredients, making it easy to incorporate into emulsions and hair care formulations.

Products containing IOTA 9930 form a soft, silky film on the hair surface, improving manageability, reducing dryness and frizz, and enhancing natural shine. The amino functional groups can also crosslink under appropriate conditions to create an elastic film, extending the duration of hair care effects.

In perming and coloring products, IOTA 9930 can partially replace ammonia or other amine compounds, helping to minimize physical and chemical damage during treatment.

This silicone is suitable for shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, and styling or coloring products. The recommended usage level is 0.1–0.2%, with proper mixing and temperature control for optimal performance.

IOTA 9930 maintains the safety and stability expected of cosmetic-grade silicones. For storage, keep in a sealed container, avoid moisture, and prevent prolonged exposure to air to minimize yellowing or viscosity increase.
