Acrylate silicone oils are widely used in UV-curable systems to enhance surface performance and durability. Among them, di-functional (double-end) acrylate silicone oils represent a higher level of reactive silicone modification.
IOTA 2220 is a polydimethylsiloxane compound terminated at both ends with acrylate functional groups, designed specifically for UV-curable resin systems.
Unlike mono-functional acrylate silicones, IOTA 2220 contains two acrylate groups located at both ends of the silicone chain. This di-functional structure allows the silicone segment to participate directly in the crosslinked polymer network during UV curing.
