IOTA 2050 is a reactive single-ended hydroxypropyl silicone oil designed for advanced polymer modification. Its molecular structure features a silicone backbone on one end and a reactive hydroxypropyl group on the other, allowing it to be chemically incorporated into polymer systems as an active component.

Compared with conventional dihydroxy silicone oils, the single-ended functional design of IOTA 2050 enables more controlled distribution of silicone segments within the matrix, delivering enhanced surface properties such as improved hand feel, anti-graffiti performance, and release behavior.

IOTA 2050 is a linear organofunctional polysiloxane with a primary hydroxyl group at one terminal end. This structure provides:
