IOTA 2110 is a double-ended hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane developed for resin modification and high-performance surface treatment systems. With reactive hydroxyl groups at both ends of the molecular chain, it actively participates in chemical crosslinking reactions within polyurethane, amino resin, and related systems.

Unlike conventional non-reactive silicone oils, IOTA 2110 is chemically bonded into the resin network rather than physically blended. Silicone segments are firmly anchored, especially at the surface layer, effectively preventing migration, blooming, or loss of performance over time.

In practical applications, IOTA 2110 significantly improves weather resistance, UV aging resistance, and low-temperature flexibility. It also delivers long-lasting soft hand feel and enhanced anti-stain and easy-cleaning properties. The product is widely used in coatings, synthetic leather, leather finishing, and functional resin modification where durability and long-term surface performance are essential.
