As a colorless, transparent oily liquid, this product is available in two specifications based on viscosity and hydroxyl content: Type A with viscosity 60-70 mm²/s and hydroxyl content 1.1-2.0%; Type B with viscosity 95-105 mm²/s and hydroxyl content 0.8-0.9%. The product's moisture content is strictly controlled below 0.5%, ensuring stability and consistency.

The unique chemical structure of Linear Hydroxy Silicone Oil IOTA 1203M, represented by the formula HO[(CH3)2SiO]nH, features hydroxyl-terminated linear chains that provide special reactivity. The viscosity of hydroxy silicone oil closely relates to molecular weight, allowing precise control over polymerization degree to meet diverse application requirements.
