Long-chain aralkyl modified silicone oil is modified by long-chain alkyl and aryl functions
**Performance characteristics**:
- It has good lubricity, demoulding, hydrophobic insulation, and dust handling performance.
- It can improve the dispersibility of titanium dioxide in oily media and improve the dispersion effect.
- It gives silicone oil new properties, such as lipophilicity and better lubricity, good compatibility with organic materials, high temperature resistance and hydrophobicity, good post-coating performance, and good thermal stability. The product can be used repeatedly at high temperatures without dispersion and leaving residues. Compared with long-chain alkyl silicone oil, it has better lubricity, wear resistance and can withstand higher temperatures.
**Applications**:
- Used for titanium dioxide surface treatment, which can reduce the oil absorption of the product, increase the leveling of the coating, and reduce the roughness of the coating; reduce the photosensitivity of titanium dioxide, improve the yellowing resistance of titanium dioxide; improve the crushing efficiency of titanium dioxide, save energy and time; help micronize particles and improve the dispersibility of titanium dioxide; have moisture-proof effect and extend the storage period of titanium dioxide.
- It can be used in the compound formula of die-casting release agent, with excellent use effect, and does not hinder the subsequent printing, embossing and painting of the product surface.
- Used as a hydrophobic agent to reduce the freezing point of crude oil and improve the impact strength of polypropylene.
- Used for lubrication treatment of leather and synthetic leather.
- As an additive for plastic and rubber products, it improves the boundary lubricity of the products.
- Used as a lubricant or lubricant additive, such as for grease base oil, it can be used for lubrication between stainless steel and titanium steel, which are difficult to lubricate, or as a lubricant for aluminum machines without adding boundary lubrication additives.
- As a coating additive, it can be used for leveling and gloss, etc. It can significantly improve the gloss of the product and have a defoaming effect.
- Used in daily chemical products, such as high-end hair oils, hair conditioners, lipsticks, lip balms, etc., it can give cosmetics excellent skin care, hydrophobic air permeability, antioxidant properties, UV protection, softness, smoothness, anti-stickiness and other properties. **Application method**:
- Silicone surface coating treatment is a commonly used titanium dioxide treatment method.
- When used as a mold release agent, it can be used after emulsification.
- When used as a coating additive and lubricant, it can be used directly or diluted with an organic solvent. When actually adding, pay attention to adjust the amount of addition appropriately.
- When used as a TPE additive, it can be mixed with white mineral oil, and the addition amount is generally 1%~2%.
